This site describes a misunderstood, undermanaged, dynamic, intercommunicating karst mega aquifer located within a large dolomitic sedimentary geological succession in South Africa, called The Transvaal Supergroup.
This groundwater resource, carbon sink and natural ecosystem is facing one of the globes largest karst catastrophes. It is hopeful that the information provided will enable those who have been historically narrow minded and locally focused to come out and see the “Bigger Picture”
